I have a region 3 dvd I bought from overseas and I used to be able to watch it because I had a laptop set to region 3, and a dvd player that played all region.
Unfortunately I donated the dvd player when upgrading to blueray, and the laptop is too old (win95) and cannot output hdmi.

So I ripped the dvd but when I tried to burn it, imgburn tells me (1) it may not fit on the dvd, and (2) it cannot find a cell to do the layer break.

I can watch the dvd on my windows PC but I want to put it on a dvd player so I can play it on my big TV. What's the best way to do this?

  2. Did you use a double layer DVD to burn?

Of course, and I have successfully burned 2 double layer DVDs previously.
