Here's what happened whenever i used force film in DVD2AVI.
I rip a dvd then when I see that it is 95 to 99% Film, I set DVD2AVI at Force Film. I then encode it using TempGen. When I test the resulting mpg, the audio lags the video. It is not noticeable at the start but as the movie progresses, the audio lag worsens that at the end of the movie, it is lagging by 3 to 4 seconds. What am I doing wrong? Am I missing something?
As of now, I don't enable Force Film in DVD2AVI. This way, the audio is always in sync.
I would like to use Force Film though if I could make it work because I found that I could have an mpeg output of lesser size with same settings in TempGen.
