  1. Hi
    I have 2 video files.

    1st
    container: mkv
    codec: x264
    fps: 25
    audio: aac

    2nd
    container: avi
    codec: xvid
    fps: 23.976
    audio: ac-3

What I want to do is mux the audio from the 2nd video file into the 1st.
    Is this possible?
What tool do I need to extract the audio from the 2nd video?
Then I can use megui to mux the audio into the first video file but I sense problems will arise because of the different fps.
    Is this fixable?
Can one change fps of an audio? lol
Changing the fps of the first video file to match 23.976, will it be okay?

  2. You have to convert the 2nd audio from 23.976 fps speed to 25 fps speed (with or without pitch correction) and then mux 1st video with converted audio to a new output.
Both can be done with my clever FFMpeg-GUI

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

  4. It's rare that NTSC and PAL versions of a movie are the same cut. Don't be surprised when you find you can't just adjust the length of the audio to sync them.

Yeah, I also had to cut the first 8 seconds of the audio using mp3directcut and I've synced it nearly perfectly well.
