  1. Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well!

i have been learning languages and i thought it would be a good idea to use double subtitles on the same video.

So essentially i have an english subtitle at the bottom, and the Russian subtitle, the language I'm learning on top.

My issue is that these two subtitles are not synced properly. One is too fast and the other too slow.

I've tried using Alt+E to sync it better, but the issue is that it is changing the sync for both subtitles.
Whereas what i need is to apply different syncs to each subtitle.

Is there any way, I can change the sync for one and maybe save it? and then change the sync other?

Instead of Potplayer applying the same sync to both.

Thanks in advance for your help!

If the subs are text (e.g. .srt, .ass, .ssa, etc) you can adjust the timing with Subtitle Edit. If they're sub/idx, VOBSub.

You'll have to adjust the timing on both.
