mpv high CPU usage

Does anyone know how to reduce usage of cpu with the mpv video player?

I found this but I don't know if it's the best option.

Can you show your config?
replace hwdec=yes with hwdec=auto to your config.
it works the same but more intuitive as if you ever needed copyback decoding, all you need to do, is add -copy to the end so line looks like this

hwdec=auto-copy
