After capturing a TV-programm with my ATI RADEON AIW in mpeg2 format I have no sound when playing the file with Windows Media Player.
While playing the file with th MMC Fileplayer I do have sound.
Sound is captured.
Do more people have this problem? I don't want others to install the MMC Fileplayer just to view my mpeg's.
Is there a solution?

I have the same card but I don't have that problem. How did you encode the MPEGs? Did you capture straight to MPEG using MMC? What you may need to do is setup a custom capture format to make sure the codec and setup for the capture is correct.

Yes, I captured with the standard mpeg2 settings in the VCR app.
Besides that I also have a problem using slider bar (forward and backward) when playing the file with Fileplayer. By using this feature the sound gets out of sync. That was the main reasen for trying with the WMP, but then I discovered there as no sound at all.
