Hi,
When I convert my retail soccer-matches DVD's, the framerate is not acting like the original smooth one?
The original content looks as smooth as 60fps, but is onle 25fps.
When converting it with the same framerate, it looks like the framerate has dropped, although Mediainfo, says the same before and after converting? 25fps.
I use Handbrake, "same as source" framerate.
Maybe it has something to do with the content being interlaced, and I de-interlacing it while converting, using Handbrake's "fast" in "filters"?
It's pretty annoying.
Hope you guys can help
Ask for info-file, screenshot, videoclip, whatever
Best regards....

Sorry, here:

The file is untouched, just ripped with MakeMKV. -
You have to deinterlace.
Try my Qtgmc-GUI. Load your video, let create the script, encode with this settings: Framerate: Doubled, Field Order: BFF, CRF 23, DAR: 4:3
You need patience, it's slow.

I'm using 1.2.2 on Windows. I think your Bob will do the same thing as my Yadif+Bob. Be sure to select 50 fps on the Video tab.

The aforementioned QTGMC will get even better results. Smoother and less buzzing on near-horizontal edges.
