How to Create Video from Still photographs?

Hello,

I want to create a video from still photos [7 in numbers].

I want to add animation effects to the photographs appearing randomly – and add an audio track of 7 minutes duration.

Is it complicated?
Is it possible to do using free tools?

It's as simple or complicated as you want to make it. From a simple slideshow to "Ken Burns" moves to fake 3D with warped moves. Your question is way too broad.

There are thousands of techniques and dozens of good pieces of software.

You might want to start by finding something similar to what you want to do and working from there.

I am back with an unusual request.

I created an amazing slideshow.
Now I want to change images and music track ONLY while retaining all other settings of the project as they are.

I am not able to save other settings like, transitions, duration, animations, etc that I want to retain in new project.

Is it possible?
