Hi everyone
New here. Hope you're all ok. I have filmed a video in 4:3, added a fade to the end in Final Cut Pro and then exported it as 16:9 but it is now a huge file. It has bars to the sides as you would expect given the original filming was done in 4:3 and I want to preserve these and the 16:9 format as I compress it in Handbrake.fr. I can't do this for some reason as all the SAR/PAR/DAR settings in Handbrake that I have tried result in (at best) a video that is returned to 4:3 format without the bars at the sides. Somehow I need a file below 600mbs that is 16:9 in order to upload it to IGTV. Can anyone help?

It's the automatic cropping in Handbrake. You need to disable it to prevent it from cropping the black bars.
Avisynth functions Resize8 Mod - Audio Speed/Meter/Wave - FixBlend.zip - Position.zip
Avisynth/VapourSynth functions CropResize - FrostyBorders - CPreview (Cropping Preview) -
Why don't you leave the video in 4:3?
The player will add the black bars automatically.
