Hi There,
I captured a bunch of VHS in 2016, and now looking thru them, I see some tapes have badly damaged / faded / jittery colors. Is there a way with avisynth to completely remove the chroma channel, resulting in a black and white video?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You can use Greyscale() to keep the chroma channels , but "zeroed" to 128 ,
or ConvertToY8() for true gray (just an 8bit Y channel and discarded U, V channels)
