    G'day

I have this extremely large mouse pointer that I cannot get rid off. I was trying some larger pointers and after I tested this one I could not go back to a normal pointer. What can I do that I haven't done yet. I tried installing small ones from the net but they come big after installing.

I don't want to reinstall Windows again and restore points don't work in W10.

    Thanks for any help.

I do not know about Win10 but in Win7 the size of the pointer is controlled by Control Panel >> Mouse >> Pointers >> Select a Scheme

The pointer could be running independent of Windows (in it's own app). Locate the app and check it's settings. There may be one to restore to Windows pointers or words to that effect.

That exists in Win7 as well. But it is independent of the Mouse Pointer setting I described above.

Every day, more than once a day, I never keep the PC, nor the modem on if I'm not using it.

  9. Could try to rename the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Cursors and reboot.

    Solved.

I reinstalled Windows 10. Kept my apps and my files. Took me the afternoon, but. All is working, Windows and Office are activated and I'm pleased with it.

    Thanks for your posts.
