    Hello experts:

I've been trying to download subtitles for videos streamed at CBS.com with no luck. I've looked for the series on other subtitle websites, and I've had no luck getting the subtitle files (.srt, .vtt, .ass, etc) for the series I am looking for (Tommy). I've tried using "inspect" on the browser and filtering for anything that looks like sub, closed caption, .srt, .vtt, etc. But there don't appear to be any links to the subtitle files. I have seen subtitles ripped from CBS.com on other subtitle websites, so I hope this is possible. Some other network TV websites encode the closed captions into the video files, but not the CBS.com website.

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Bobby Gee

You should be able to use the free trial version of Tubedigger (no need to buy if you just want subtitles). I tried Tubedigger on above Tommy and got srt subtitles instantly.
