Hi! I recently bought a new monitor LG 38GL950G-B and it has two mainly used by me modes:
-3840x1600, 120Hz, 10-bit + HDR
-3840x1600, 160Hz, 8-bit + HDR
I would like to mention that this monitor's 10-bit is 8-bit+FRC.
My question is if 10-bit colour mode improves somewhat 8-bit videos (I use Media Player Classic + MadVR) and games which don't have HDR mode (eg. Heroes of the Storm, Killing Floor 2 etc.)?
Regards

I don't think so, disregarding if your set up is capable of sending 10bit to a monitor or not.
Monitor is given 8bit, so it will screen the same . 8bit+FRC does not make 10 bit value, it just screens 8bit values anyway.
