Hi. I'm trying to edit a concert video of my band. I use a separate audio track, and then two video tracks. When I edit the track, the tracks are all synchronised in the preview screen, but when I export the video one of the video tracks runs a little behind. Anything I can do about this?

  2. It might help if you provided more information -

What editor you are using ?

How are the 2 videos arranged in the export video?

What export format and settings were used ?

  3. Do the two streams (video & audio) have the same length (in time)?

    Hi! Thanks for your replies.

So, the streams all have the same length in this file. I cut them out of the footage of the entire concert, in which the audio stream and both camera streams all start at different moments during the concert.

The camera streams are an MTS file and an mp4 file, the audio comes from a wav file.

This is the info on the files I got from the export page:
    Video track: 1/1
    Width: 1280 pixels
    Height: 720 pixels
    Framerate: 30 fps
    Bitrate: 884 kbps
    Aspect: 1280:720
    Codec: raw video
    Duration: 02:56

    Audio track: 1/1
    Language: Track 1
    Frequency: 44100 Hz
    Channels: 2
    Bitrate: 1411 kbps
    Codec: PCM signed 16-bit little-endian
    Duration: 02:56

I tried to export it into .avi. I will try export it to .mpg or .flv and see if this works better.

  5. Try to mux them with MkvToolNix to mkv, specifying 30 fps for the videostream. Convert the audio first to ac3 448 kbps or aac 256 kbps.
