I want to tranfer avi files to VCR and want to know the best way of doing this. My capture card is IOMagic's PC PVR. I have conected VCR and DVD Player to the card and can watch movies but am unable to record avi movies to VHS for my mother to view. Please help.

I dont know much about this card... if it doesnt have a TV/out connection, you could make a VCD and copy from the DVD player to the VCR. (assuming, of course that you stand-alone player will play VCDs)
