  1. I have recently created a VCD that is usable in my DVD player. The only drawback is that the image is very pixelated and the DVD player does not always recognize the CD. It only recognizes it about 1 of every five times. I was curious to as if anyone had any suggestions on improving DVD player compatability and if the kind of media I use (CD-R,CD-RW or even various brands of media) have anything to do with it.
    Thanks,
    Michael

  2. TDK and Memorex CDRW seem to work fine in about 7 different brand DVD's I know. Also, what bitrate are you capturing your video in before you encode it? :P Hope that helps!

Taiyo Yuden silver are probably the best for playing in DVD players. You can get a 100 pack of 80min 32x on a spindle from www.rima.com for $35 including shipping.
