    Hi All,

    I have installed bbc iPlayer application on my Android mobile phone. Then I downloaded 2 programs, and copied them to my laptop, thinking I would see it on a bigger screen.

    But on laptop when I see the file(s), there are so many small-small files e.g. one program is approximately 530 MB and it has got some ~2700 files. Most of the files are ~50kb file each and they are named like seg_1_1 and the last number keep increasing for each file, and after certain number of that, second number increases and first number gets starts from 1 again.

    I am not sure what is the format of these files. But I can say that Android application created one folder for each program and it's related files are in it's associated folder only.

    I would like to convert this program to mp4 from these set of files. Can you please guide me how I can achieve this using ffmpeg or any other tool.

    Thanks very much for your help,

    Regards,

    NEVER click or install any exe files someone provides you here, unless the "tool" is known and included on videohelp.com site..

    @fbmate:
    you could use xplorr's TV Downloader frontend GUI for youtube-dl, it is able to download BBC videos (including subtitles) and combining (if needed) the files into a single mp4 file...
    see the topic of xplorr's TV Downloader on this forum, HERE.

    Also, pyIDM is able to download and combine the BBC files for you, into a single file..
    See the topic here.

    both of those two apps use youtube-dl, ffmpeg and other apps to achieve the download job done,as easy as possible.
    They both are very easy to use, in short.. you just paste the video url (from your web-browser) into the app, and the app downloads the video for you...
