  1. Windows 7 had windows movie maker 6.0

    windows 10 dont support that

everything I download expires , has a watermark or wants money.

I dont see anything to replace windows movie maker 6.0

Video pad is trial and expired. I liked the reverse clip feature, never saw that in windows movie maker but cant afford,

What do i do. Is there anything for free with these features ????

Windows movie maker 6.0 had good zoom in out features but windows essentials 2012 had better clip speed editing but 6.0 more video effects.

Just looking for a decent free one.

    Thanks

    Lc out.

  2. shotcut or da vinci resolve. you will need a decent computer to run Da vinci, which is free but limited in some of the effects you can apply, other than that, fully working. It should do what you need if you have a decent computer.
Shotcut is also free and very capable

Why can’t you download WMM from a safe link? Windows 10 supports it but does not include it.

  4. Windows 10 has a video movie maker already installed. Just type video maker in the search area lower left corner of your home screen.

Correct me if I am wrong in this sort of pointless point...Windows 10 does NOT include WMM, but if you already had it from a previous installation (W7, 8, 8.1.) it is not deleted by W10 install.

  6. I used Video Movie Maker as a general term. Windows 10 has it. It works. Somewhat simple and lacks features but it is usable.

The forum software shows Movie Maker as a link. I did not do that so ignore it and just look for it in Windows 10. Don't click on the red letters.

  9. Yes, Microsoft Photos has a built in, free video editor in Windows 10!
    Try it out!

...Otherwise, blackmagic davinci, hitfilm free, avid media composer first are all free.

Davinci has the most built in features.
Avid is the Hollywood's 1 and only standard for all major blockbusters making $500 million+ - nothing else.
(You'd have to use avid pro tools first for a free audio editor with media composer.)
Hitfilm let's you do all sorts of special effects like Supergirl, The Flash, etc.
