ffmpeg -list_devices true -f dshow -i dummy
should give my the name of the audio devices where ffmpeg can capture audio. On my system there is only one device - virtual-audio-capturer. This device was installed together with the "on screen capture recorder". But there should also two real audio devices. The normal speakers and the spdif device. Both are onBoard and i can use them nomally.

For normal stereo sound the virtual device should be ok, but what when i want to capture multi channel output?
