Please note the Stream #0:6 (bold/italian).
As said, this was generated because of a wrong ffmpeg instruction.
Is there a tool to find out the subtitle streams?
It is simply by coincidence, i.e. using simply a wrong instruction that I found out the 888 number in the error report.
This number I needed for something else.
I have not found a ffmpeg parameter that does provide this information
Could not find this info in MediaInfo
Anyone has a suggestion?

If you open a .ts file with Subtitle Edit (File -> Open), you will get a "subtitle chooser" with preview, like this:

Fantastic - I was really not aware of this feature.
Much, much easier than the way I was doing it:
I found out the stream (888) from error report ffmpeg
then in CCextractor I entered that number at "Page for subtitles"
