    > I have just amplified the audio track of 18 episodes of a series with DynAudNorm and processed them in batch. I then had to add 17 episodes for muxing (because of the video stream), which results in 54 streams, two of which are muxed and then deleted.

If you activate sorting for the filename column, then you wouldn't have to scroll through the very long table so much.
The numbers and order of the index don't matter because they are automatically corrected during muxing.

    ---

Would you change the drop down oder for growing numbers like you did for frequency?
Crop detection Round, Various P-Level and Various Rotate.

    ---

Maybe it's time to replace the older screenshots from version 3.0.2 on this page. Because of several changes to some pages in the meantime.

  3. Nice new screenshots with good color

Why does aac audio do not show the bitrate?

    ---

What about this change to be able to use Preview without open Various?

Also space for future functions. But that's not such a good example.

Could you please try if preview controls page up/down for 10 minutes or chapter jump is working for you!

Tested. If there are chapters, doesn't work as aspected.
Without chapters works as aspected. The chapters jump does not work at all. I will remove the reference to it.

If you mux to mkv, the aac bitrate tag is missing, because the ffmpeg mkv muxer omit it.
If you mux to mp4, the tag is written.

Strange. This no longer works for me at all. I'll take a look on another devices also with older versions. I'm sure that worked before.

What about the idea to replace the language in the red oval when the bitrate tag has a value > 0, as the language is already showen in the green circle?

  10. Hi, DoVi is lost if “-strict unofficial” is not used when remuxing DoVi files as mp4 files.

Result if i use the code:
    HDR format : Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 8.1, dvhe.08.06, BL+RPU, no metadata compression, HDR10 compatible / SMPTE ST 2086, Version HDR10, HDR10 compatible

I can confirm that the preview controls page up/down for 10 minutes or chapter jump is working well on two other devices.
Tested on W10 and W11 with mp4 and mkv.
Somehow on my working laptop the page up/down keys are working, but still not any longer with ffplay.

The numbers and order of the index don't matter because they are automatically corrected during muxing.

Suggestion with the 54 streams: First, you check all unnecessary streams and mux them "away", so they will disappear from the table. Then sort by column filename and from now, you only have to check the top two streams to mux a new episode if the filename sorting remains after a table refresh after a multiplex.

Now it would make sense to automatically check the first video and audio stream after a table refresh.

An other solution could be a filter matrix for the multiplex table about stream types to show.

In the muxing grid there is a delay column where you can enter a positive or negative value in milliseconds for each audio track; the corresponding track is then played earlier or later depending on the value.

Open you video with VLC player, in the menu bar click on tools, track synchronozation, try various values (negative and positive) until the audio is in synch. The value found is your audio delay.

I can confirm that the preview controls page up/down for 10 minutes or chapter jump is working well on two other devices.
Tested on W10 and W11 with mp4 and mkv.
Somehow on my working laptop the page up/down keys are working, but still not any longer with ffplay, so I can't do the 10 minutes or the chapter jump any longer.
But when I attach an external keyboard, all works well.

    ---

What about an option in converting a video into grayscale?
    -vf format=gray
In the past I used VLC for that.

    ---

Is it intentional that the red marked buttons do not have the same position as the two in green?

As long as there are these differences in the treatment of pgup and pgdn by windows, I will leave it as it is now.

Your right. -display_hflip does a vertical flip only for mp4 played on VLC!?

  28. Frame resize -> retain source DAR, works well.

How about the idea of applying it to "crop detection" too?
If the source is a 16/9 letterbox format and you crop the top and bottom, but want to keep the aspect ratio, you have to cut left and right video content as well.
Insted a manual calculation of the user, you check a box doing that for you.
So this time, the width will change. Or top/left with value <= 1 after a click on "Next crop".

I actually only delete content because of annoying logos.

How about the idea of applying it to "crop detection" too?
This is not a good idea.
Think for example of a 2.39:1 movie that was letterboxed and encoded as 16:9.
