I repeat: False alarm, no virus.
The program is coded in Vb.net and compiled with VisualStudio 2022 from Microsoft.

  8. Hi
I ran into one problem related to closed subtitles and tried to extract them. Unfortunately, no program sees them. (the player sees them) And I was wondering if it's possible to make it so that the smart FFmpeg-GUI can see them (and, of course, process them)?

  11. If you load the 1623 - Language and the Mind.mp4 video into clever FFmpeg-GUI the caption streams are shown?

Could you upload the entire file here?

  12. no, subtitle streams are not displayed in clever FFmpeg-GUI.
    here is the file:

  13. This is a lot of work, maybe I will implement it in the future.
But you can extract the subtitle as srt like this:
    Code:
    ffmpeg -f lavfi -i movie="1623 - Language and the Mind.mp4"[out+subcc] -map 0:1 output.srt
(The video file must be in the same folder as ffmpeg.exe).

Your ffmpeg (ffmpeg version 4.3.2-2021-02-27) is outdated.
Get a newer one and retry.
You could also try the newest beta of clever FFmpeg-GUI.
    I've implemented a simple captions EIA-608/708 extraction.
The captions aren't shown in streams, but will be extracted and converted to srt, if exists.

  18. Yes, the cause of the wrong timing is outdated ffmpeg. The files (.srt) themselves are identical except for the timings. I tried your new BETA clever FFmpeg-GUI and EIA-608/708 extraction works like a charm! Thanks a lot!

Glad to hear it worked. If you like the program, rate it.

  20. I rated it,
although there is one file among others which is a hard nut.
It looks like the program does not see captions at all, but it rapports - 'done' in no time.

There is problem in lavfi filter of ffmpeg.
It seems to ignore long filenames.
Rename your file to test.mp4, then it should work.

    PS.
    Did further research.
The error is not the name length, but the comma.
Lavfi does not accept a comma in the movie name. This is a bug in FFmpeg.

Why can't I convert FPS audio now?
When I set the desired value, the convert button disappears.
