did you ever take a look at why the "play video" from the cut screen is not working?

  5. I just tried the last beta (.07). The GUI is not stable. For example: if I start an audio conversion and after few seconds I stop it I got the message "Audio conversion aborted". But the GUI is still running (ffmpeg.exe). Even if I close the GUI ffmpeg.exe is still running (I must use Windows task managet to stop it). In the last stable version 3.0.9 this problem don't exist.

    Hi AlanFord54
    thanks for the hint.
In fact, an error crept in when rewriting code, which caused the running process not to terminate correctly when it was intended to.
This should be fixed in the latest beta (v3.0.9.08).
Try it and report back here.

Does this also happen in the latest beta 3.0.9.08?
    Here everything is played correctly.

    I reverted to ffmpeg 4.4 (April/9/21) presumably 64-bit,
    and it's working now.

Invoking ffplay directly from a command prompt, eg.
    Code:
    ffplay.exe testfile.mp4
works in all versions of ffmpeg/ffplay

But now I get this when I select "check times"
