  1. Hello,

My computer stopped working and BSD appeared with BAD_POOL_HEADER.

Disconnecting all hard disks didn't help. I also checked for drivers and found nothing wrong.

My desktop is dead for about three months.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

can you boot windows into safe mode ??
once you are in safe mode, restore windows to an earlier time.
the error can be caused by bad memory or hard drive.

  3. Thanks for replying.

Yes, I did boot in Safe Mode but the error persists.
I did run Windows Memeory Test and it found no error with RAM.

Trying the solutions on the link, you have provided.

    Will revert and post results.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I was unable to follow the suggestions at the link for there was national lockdown owing to Coronavirus pandemic.

Even now, people over 60 years are advised not to venture out.

So, I took help of a young engineer and he found:

    1. RAM is bad. and

    2. The SMPS is working erratically.

    Thanks for your help.
