    Haven't dared to update PotPlayer since version 1.7.18958, but it's time.
    When I google "download PotPlayer", two sites come up, and I'm confused: which is the correct one, meaning, the one from the original author, and with the less bloat?

    Neither is official, the author is Korean. The official forum, unless I know is http://cafe.daum.net/pot-tool/AZMV

    Thanks, guys. It's just surprising that there would be two websites offering to download the software and looking official.
    I'm going to go with https://potplayer.daum.net/ since @Havokdan said that the official forum also lives on daum.net.
