I wonder if other options exist, such as converting the source code of the external filter for a 64-bit machine, and if other people have found them.

Sound like it not the 64 bit computer but rather you are using the 64 bit avisynth instead if the 32 bit version . http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Main_Page. You can use the 32 bit version on a 64 bit computer.
