A user on reddit had asked if anyone had copies of The CollegeHumor Show from 2011. It is no longer hosted on their website, but seemingly cannot be found anywhere else.
Using Archive.org, I was able to find the embed url's, which still technically exist but no longer work. The format for how MTV present their videos has changed slightly, and I have tried several different combinations to get it working, but have not had any success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look on the newsgroups for it.
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
Managed to get rip's from Newsgroup's, thank you.
Would it be possible to download them from MTVN still? It would be nice to get them in high quality if possible. -
Looks like there are gone from mtvn,Guess they get rid of older videos due to lack of server space.

It is easy to lose sight of the newsgroups, but they are a resource that is still there, and that's a good idea. My recollection -- quite a few years past at this point -- is that there was always a tremendous amount of junk, spam, adverts, fake posts that you had to sift through to find what you wanted. Then, subscribe to a particular newsgroup service . . . but which ? That kept changing, but you sort of needed to use one of them, because many ISPs dropped their free newsgroup access entirely. And weren't you much better off using some specialized newsreader software, that streamlined many functions ?
Torrents are another place to search for things that are not so easy to find, including things for which historic links have expired. I never would mess with torrents for a number of reasons, but then I read a bunch of comparative reviews that led me to (subscription) services like Bitport.io and Offcloud, and I'm starting to change my opinion. Not exactly cheap, and you still need to find magnet or other viable links, but they function as third-party intermediaries who do the heavy lifting for you, while you can stand off at a distance and avoid all or most of the negative issues. (I think Offcloud may be the one that claims to also be able to pull in newsgroup stuff. It may also be the one that offers a limited, free tier of service, to try out ?)Last edited by Seeker47; 22nd Feb 2020 at 10:11.
When in Las Vegas, don't miss the Pinball Hall of Fame Museum http://www.pinballmuseum.org/ -- with over 150 tables from 6+ decades of this quintessentially American art form. -
The video content itself probably still exists on the server, but the naming convention of the urls would have to be determined. This could be done by searching the internet for prior attempts to download these videos when they first appeared, or other shows that were released around the same time.
Alternatively, this series was available for purchase (note: purchase, not rental or part of the prime subscription service) from amazon in the US as recently as 2016. If you found somebody who purchased the series in this way back then, that would be another way.
Either of these would be a lot of work, much more than the ten dollar bounty being offered on reddit for quality copies of these videos. -
I'm not an expert but if you can watch the videos thanks to archive.org, I suppose you should screen record it.
If those contents aren't avalaible anymore on the net, no matter the quality, this is better than nothing.
(hope you found a solution with that newsgroups)
