I have a number of Digital & SD Betacam tapes to transfer, I have both SD & Digital machines but seem to be having issues with the audio out on the digital (Sony DVW-A510P) - The meters show that there is audio on the tapes and the sound from the headphone socket is fine, but I am not getting anything from any of the XLR outputs on the back.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what I may be missing - the XLR leads work fine on the SD machine so I think I can rule them out.

If it comes to it I can capture the audio from the headphone socket but would prefer the XLR out for obvious reasons.

Hope someone can assist
