  1. Hi...

Im having much trouble to find a good way to convert the DivX Files into an VCD in a good way.

For now i use DivXDoctor to convert them into .mov. That works great.
To cut and Convert them into mpeg1 i use Quicktime Pro. And there are starting my Prolems:

    - Quicktime doesnt really remember my settings about the Quality
    - I have to wait till the first part of the Movie is exported (around 3-5 Hours) to convert the next File. Isnt there a way to use some kind of cue?!?
    - Some real great DivX become real shitty quality on VCD, others not, some are better quality if i let Quicktime export them again.

Does anybody know an other Program for this Job?

    Tnx and Greetings

Uh.. Why don't you just use TMPGEnc to convert DivX directly to VCD? What's the point of sub-converting it to QuickTime Movie?

  3. Hmmm... Good question... I thought its only for Windows. I found out that it was an mistake.

How would be the way to convert a DivX to an VCD?

Also going through the way of converting it to an .mov?

I found out that many DivX have problems to get played directly on the Mac. But i also found out that if i convert it into .mov i can play all the files like i want.

Does TMPGEnc has the same nice feature like no problems with the DivX i have problems with?

Is there an useful GUI for that program too? And what about the function cue and automatically cut the files???

Many questions i know... I hope u can help me out with it...

    Tnx anyway
    Greetings DJ-Kolchos
