dvd to svcd (what programs)???

Newbie here. Just would like to know what programs to use to convert dvd to svcd. I would prefer to use programs that are not beta, but if i need to use them, i will.

Umm.....A stand alone VCD recorder.

Dont waste your time trying to copy DVDs with the computer. It takes so much time!!!

I must agree with Odwah.....DVD2SVCD is the easiet to use. Not only is the quality excellent, but it is extremly easy to use. Basically set and forget. It even makes the images for you, ready to burn.

danny333, CCE SP isn't freeware. If you are looking for a freeware solution, I suggest to use DVD2AVI + [Avisynth] +TMPGEncoder.
Edit: I think, the latest dvd2svcd release let you use both CCE SP and TMPGEnc. So I agree, dvd2svcd is a newbie frienly free all-in-one solution.
