You know, I have my Fluance RT81 and it's perfect for me. I think, it's better to buy a new model of turntable, than repair your old one. Because, there are so many good options, with so many modern useful features.
Anyway, if you are a fan of everything vintage, so, you may do all your best to save your old friend.
