I'm using the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus and getting yellow lines in the captured video. These are not visible when playing directly from the VCR to the TV. Is there any way I can correct this using software or hardware? If so, what can I use?

you probably can adjust that with virtualdub filters:
 1- camcorder color denoise
2- gradation curves (in CMYK mode)
 3- color mill

There's so little color in that clip you might as well just reduce it to greyscale.
