    Hi, all!
I've recently upgraded to the latest version of VSDC free. And although I've been using older versions for some time, I still consider myself as a newb. So, please, bear with me and my questions.

    1. I can now cut up a clip in the timeline without creating a new row with every slice. Very convenient. But is it possible to mute(make invisible) specific slices in a row so I don't have to remove them from the timeline or move them to rows muted rows in the timeline? (I use muted, becauss I come from an audio editing background and I my video terminology is still very lacking. Sorry).

    2. When I select a row in the timeline the cursor/positioner and the displayed position in the timeline jumps to what seems the end of the last active clip in that specific row. Can I turn that function of and make the cursor stay where it is no matter what row I am activating.

    3. When I want to enter fade-ins and -outs (video and audio), I enjoyed the comfort of finding the cursor in the right field, and when I wanted to use the same fading time as with the last edit I simply had to hit enter and that's that. Now in the new version I have to first re-click the start or end point of the fade, then click into the fade time field, then hit enter (See attached screen shot). Obviously that is not too much ob a big deal. But, boy had I become swift with fade editing in the previous VSDC version. And that was necessary, because I cut music videos with a lot of switching between up to six cameras for one live performance.

I've gone way out of my way to find my answers on youtube/the web/inside the software. But to no avail. So if anyone can help out, that would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Dang! Please excuse my misspelling in the thread title and for failing to really specify the topic
    Cheers and thanks
