  2. By 'charter', I take it you mean 'character'?

And you want to remove question marks at the beginning but not at the end? If so, I'd remove 'space?' or ' ?'. There should be a space only before the ones you want to remove, but not for real questions ending with a '?'.

Is there something I'm missing, or is this a really easy question? Maybe smoke less weed?

  6. SubtitleEdit offers search&replace with regular expressions. I guess it should be relatively simple. I can't really test if you only upload a screenshot. It's better to upload the actual subtitle file (as a forum attachment). And like johns0 said the original subtitle would be preferred.

  7. Notepad++ lets you anchor a search-and-replace to the start of a line. Search for "\n?" replace with nothing.

  9. Replace: \?$
("$" is the end of a line)

  10. Replace "?\r" with nothing works for text files that use CR/LF (eg, files created by Notepad).
