  1. Hi,

I don't know if it is some sort of config issue with MPC-HC or MadVR but this trouble happens with some videos. I can play those videos just fine in SMPlayer with mpv.

Any idea what possibly could be wrong?

The mediainfo of one of those videos is here. Don't know how to put it as a spoiler?

  2. What filters are being used (Play->Filters->Copy to Clipboard)? Do you have the same issue with video renderers other than madvr? Do you have the same issue with software decoding (Play->Filters->LAV Video, set hardware decoding to "none" and restart)? Maybe it is an issue with the GPU driver (GPU model? OS?).

  3. The filers being used are
    Code:
    Filters currently loaded:
      - Speakers (Conexant 20561 SmartA
      - madVR
      - Audio Switcher
      - LAV Video Decoder (internal)
      - LAV Audio Decoder (internal)
      - LAV Splitter Source (internal)
Changed the h/w decoding to "none" (was DXVA2-copy back) but that didn't help. Changed the renderer to "system default" and I don't see the problem.

  4. I would try:
In madVR disable any "DXVA" features (under the scaling algorithm settings and "trade quality for performance" settings).

I would have also suggested newer GPU drivers but I couldn't find newer ones than you have already installed (at least not specifally for Lenovo. Maybe you can try driver directly from Intel or even other laptop maker).
