  1. I'm trying to burn a copy of a SVCD I have. I'm using EZCD Creator5. The orignal movie that I'm attempting to duplicate is on CD-R (700mb/80min) While in EZCD I'm burning a Data CD and simple drag & drop the drive contents into the recording area. The estimated project size is 792.3mb
How in the hell can you do that. I did not create the master copy. Is there an authoring solution that can use some sort of compression / or allow overburning?

  2. Don't worry about the 792.3MB, make an image file or ISO file and burn it in image mode with Nero Burning rom or use CloneCD.

  3. S/VCDs are not CD-ROMs and you cannot copy them as such. Even if you have a small VCD so that it will fit, the resulting disc WILL NOT WORK.

You will have to do a proper DAO copy. This is the best way of copying not only VCDs, but ANY CD. This is most simply accomplised by use the "disc copying" function of your CD-burning software.

Some proggies are better than others, and I highly recommend Clone CD or CDRWin for copying CDs.
