I have noticed that one of the codec choices for video conversion is H264(Intel Quick Synch).
I know what Intel Quick Synch is - my i5-6600 processor supports it - but what does it mean here for the file conversion?
I use VLC layer to play videos on my desktop PC, and Shield TV for streaming Plex to my TV. Shield TV - I believe - also supports Quick Synch.
Will the output file encoded with this codec be different to plain H264? Is it a good idea to use it? Will I get any benefit using it? If I use it, do I have to enable QS on the players, or does it happen automatically?
thanks
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!
