Videos do NOT run from that screen - not atleast until they have been downloaded. They run from a normal browser window. If you run the program direct and enter a standard youtube url you just download the webpage NOT any video on it.

Right now you are either incredibly annoying, stupid or both.

ok what i am saying is... when it pulls you the "webpage" you are talking about (from the program we are talking about)... that screen is just an error ? the link makes no sense?

Because AGAIN you have downloaded a html page. And one that does not have an embedded-player.

I'll try and make this as simple as I can.

    1. Start youtube in your web-broswer
    2. Navigate to the video you want to download
    3. Start playing it
    4. Look carefully at your screen and click on the blue 'Download Video From This Page'
    5. Select a quality (There may be only one) - NOT ALL videos are in HD
    6. The IDM window will now open
    7. Click 'Start Download'

If you are using Chrome as your browser you must turn IDM Integration module on under More Tools >> extensions.

This image is using IE but it still looks the same in Chrome (the actual place on the screen can vary)

The tabs only customise the program. It still has to be integrated in to the browser to work. You should have seen a message to that effect when you first installed it.

On Chrome click on the 3-dotted bar at far right of the top. Select 'More Tools' >> 'Extensions' and you should then see a box about the IDM integration. Turn it on. Restart Chrome. Load Youtube etc.

But at the end of the day and this program is too hard for you then I will suggest a simpler one. But this one is quite good.
