I have been digitizing my VHS with the EasyCap USB capturer and the Honestech VHS to DVD 8.0 Deluxe software for a year. Every few minutes the video freezes, the audio does not. I think it's because of the EasyCap since I have a PC fast enough for VHS:

My uncles have DV, they want me to pass them to DVD so I think about maybe getting a captor for it, but I prioritize the quality for my VHS.
