bulk/batch removing lines from subtitles

is there a way to remove the first and last lines of all subtitles by bulk/batch automatically? its just author's name and website info.

Can you explain how? I do have notepad++ but the problem would be it would still leave behind the timecodes. I assume some syntax or expression?

What type of subtitles, .srt, .ass, .sub, etc? Some media players may not display a blank subtitle line correctly and you'll have to run them through a subtitle editor to properly renumber the remaining lines.

For .srt, I've been using InfoRapid Search and Replace for https://www.snapfiles.com/get/irapid.html, then running them through SubMagic to renumber the lines.
