One more thing: would it be too difficult to store this user preference in the forum database itself and not in the cookies?

Because it sucks to log out, to return to the forum, and to be greeted with the dark theme again :–/

not a dark theme liker either. go back to your settings and change to forum new, then at the bottom save and it should revert.

When you are both logged in AND out click on https://forum.videohelp.com/forum.php?styleid=11


And when you are logged in change the forum skin under https://forum.videohelp.com/profile.php?do=editoptions and at the bottom Forum Skin.
