Can anyone advise on what type of connector this Sanyo video cam used on the bottom of its camera adapter. Its got a standard USB connector on one end, an inductor to reduce interference towards one end but the camera end is a tiny almost square connector (definitely not one of the standard USBs). It has 8 conectors (4 x2 rows). Later VPC Sanyop models did switch to a more normal micro/mini USB. Any help appreciated

Hiya very close but not the same. The Sanyo is a nearly square (actually a rectangle) with a small location slot. The Nikon appears to have a similar slot but also a raise nose beside the slot. Going to buy one and grind the nose away. Would love to hear from anyone who knows a supplier of the correct cable though, Julian
