  1. Hey, I got hold of the Harry potter DVD rip from sharereactor and am trying to convert it to a VCD. I can't figure out what is wrong. I used VirtualDub and tried save wav but the wav is alot bigger than expected(220MB), and it also is very choppy - seems like it has sound--pause--sound--pause, etc. So it fluctuates. :o

I have a feeling it might have to do with the audio being interleaved in with the video. I tried using Full processing Mode and saving it that way, but wont work - complains about input / output formats not being compatible??

If the audio is interleaved in with the video, how do I extract the audio properly. I wouldn't even bother if TmpGEnc could handle it, but it can't - i set the source to the AVI, but it wont acknowledge that there is audio in the file?? Completely lost on this one

    Also, new at this stuff.

    thanx

  2. First of all its not unusual for the extracted WAV to be over 1 gb in a regular length movie. If for example, you were making a VCD,then it would convert back to a Mp2 during the encoding.
    Use this guide for extraction.

Tried lots of programmes with this HP Version and none of them worked properly, seems to be a tough one.
