  1. Hello, I've NTSC disc, but I want to format it into UK PAL region. I know IMGBURN allows me to do that, but I am not sure about what to do to use it. How can I rip a dvd to an empty disc in different format?

  2. Your PAL player will play NTSC disks. You only need remove the region formatting which will happen when you decrypt the DVD to the hard drive.

The only difference between a PAL DVD and NTSC one is the frame rate and the region code, Most modern media players and DVD players are capable of playing the NTSC framerates all what you need as manono said is to remove the region code and that requires some ripping software that built in copy protection removal, IMGBurn is not one of them. But there are a lot of DVD players with region free so basically you don't have to do anything at all.

The main difference between pal and ntsc is the resolution,720x480(848x480)ntsc anamorphic and 720x576(1024x756)pal anamorphic.

Or just play the disk on your PC using vlc. Region codes ignored.
