    Hi,
i use winx hd video converter deluxe free version to encode a translated subtitle too a movie.
if i encode in english , then there is no problem
But if i encode in my regional language of tamil, the subtitle gets encoded in to the video at supported time, but the letters are not clear as in the srt file.
the letters are not correctlyl encoded
what is the solution to the problem
is the encoded script font in tamil not found in the player is the reason for this
or should i change the language in the video converter.
there is no such provision in the converter

Hi, teo, give me the solution, how to go about. How to find that if it supports unicode chars..
you mean should i save the translation in unicode format.
when i saved the subtitle, i saw, something ult 8 or something in srt file
the letters were in my regional language of tamil , but the formation is wrong

  4. utf-8 is unicode...
your encoding app probably doesn't support unicode subs..only western encoded text (ascii) anything else results in garbage...
    use another encoder
