    Hello everyone, I don't know what to do and I tried eveything so I'm asking here to see if someone can save me...

    The webcam from my laptop is broke so I'm using another one, problem is that when I want to use it on messenger, it's not showing, I only have a black screen.

    For e.g. I'm video calling someone, then clicking on the little cam at the right top but I can't choose the name of my new cam, it's frozen on the old one and impossible to change it.

    Do you know how I can solve this?

    A simple thing to try is to disable the old cam in Device Manager and then restart the laptop
