I would usually use VideoDownloadHelper to grab the MasterURL and use livestreamer with no problem, but it seems things have changed since I last tried to get anything from there. They're now streaming in m4f/f4m fragments.

I hope someone can help. Thanks.

Thanks! As usual, it's something so simple that I didn't think of.

I tried that earlier but got an "unsupported URL.." error. Just now, after updating to the latest youtube-dl, I got an geoblock error, even though I was using a VPN in the USA. After disconnecting and reconnecting the VPN (getting a different IP address) the file download.

  8. New issue. Currently signed into my TV provider and getting this message when using the cookies.txt method. My youtube-dl is up-to-date.

    HTML Code:
    youtube-dl --cookies "C:\Users\MM\Downloads\cookies.txt" "https://disneynow.com/disney-channel-original-movies/zenon-the-zequel/VDKA0_wvlbikua"
"ERROR: Unable to extract show id; please report this issue on https://yt-dl.org/bug . Make sure you are using the latest version; type youtube-dl -U to update. Be sure to call youtube-dl with the --verbose flag and include its complete output."

Im getting this same error. Did you ever come up with a fix?

EDIT: It was an issue with my tv provider. I found a fix for it. Someone on the YTDL page posted a revised adobepass.py file and since using it everything works fine again.
