has there EVER been a solution to Avidemux's no batch problem?

Since version 2.6, avidemux has removed its own ability to process in batch. Despite what the advertising says, that external executable avi has never worked, ever. not on Windows 7, and afaik not on Win either
Unless somebody knows how to work that thing, in which case im very much obliged.

I think the solution might be VirtualDub2. I've only used it's batch function once or twice so I'm not overly familiar with it, but it does work.
