I want to set up my desktop PC to play 4K Blu-Ray Movie disks.

What desktop PC (internal) Blu-Ray players will play 4K Dolby Vision disks?

What motherboards will play 4K Dolby Vision disks?

Thank you, everyone on this great site.

None. There are currently no desktop PCs able to play UHD Blu-ray with DolbyVision HDR. UHD Blu-ray drives are not the problem. The only approved GPUs for UHD Blu-ray playback that are currently available are the iGPUs on Intel Core i Kaby Lake and Coffee Lake processors, which only support HDR10.

You need to wait for Intel Ice Lake desktop processors and motherboards to arrive to get Dolby Vision support on a desktop. That may not happen until early 2021. Laptops with Ice Lake U processors will be released first. They are supposed to begin arriving in late 2019. It is difficult to predict whether or not any of those first laptops will support UHD Blu-ray playback.
