Hi:
I'm wondering about the most cost effective Ext HDD I can connect to my LAN that I can xfer MP4s to from my PC and play them back on my ROKU. The features I like are an internal power supply & a blue-tongue USB. I could live without the power supply but I think the High-Speed USB is a necessity at this level of technology.
I thought I read a post about this exact issue the last time I connected but I can't seem to find it. I think I'm putting the wrong terms into the search field: (uPNP, ext HDD.)
I am currently putting files on a USB data-key and walking it to the ROKU every time. It works but I would like to improve this process.
Thanks,
/Jer/

For the Roku you're looking for a NAS with a DLNA server.

Well, thanks for the link.
I was looking more for a recommendation than instructions.
I don't want anything extravagant, just something simple (that's code for cheap!)
I think I'll check Cnet.
